Originally from the east coast, Martha has adopted St. Louis as her hometown, and earned her Juris Doctor and Master of Public Health from Saint Louis University after graduating from Washington University. She has argued cases in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Illinois and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
